The film production team GRIDMAN UNIVERSE revealed a new promotional video, visual, and more members of the project’s voice cast. The video shows a fragment of the main musical theme titled “Uni-Verse” and performed by masayoshi ooishiand announces that Daiki Hamano joins the voice cast as the character Rex.
The film maintains its premiere scheduled for March 24 in theaters in Japan, and is described as a project that will bring together the universes of the franchises of SSSS.GRIDMAN and SSSS.DYNAZENONprojects produced by studios TRIGGER.
the original series SSSS.GRIDMAN aired during the season Autumn-2018 (October-December) and had a total of twelve episodes, and was followed by the series SSSS.DYNAZENONwhich aired during the season of Spring-2021 (April-June), with twelve episodes. The whole project is based on a tokusatsu series (a name that refers to any Japanese live-action series that makes absurd use of special effects) broadcast between 1993 and 1994.

SSSS.GRIDMAN Synopsis
Yuuta Hibiki wakes up in Rikka Takarada’s room and realizes two things: he has no memories, and he can hear a mysterious voice calling his name from a nearby room. Upon further inspection, she finds a robot—introducing itself as hyperagent Gridman—behind an old computer screen. To Yuuta’s surprise, Rikka can’t hear Gridman, nor can she see the ominous monsters that loom over a thick mist that shrouds the city on the outside.
Another giant monster materializes in the city and proceeds to wreak havoc. In the midst of the confusion, Yuuta is drawn back to the old computer and merges with Gridman. Suddenly, he appears in the middle of the battle and is forced to fight the monster. Together with Rikka and his partner Shou Utsumi, Yuuta forms the “Gridman Alliance” to defeat the monsters plaguing the city and find who is responsible for his appearance.
