On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Hotondo Shindeiru, Isekai Oji-san (Uncle from Another World), it was reported that the thirteenth and final episode of the series will air on March 8 in Japan. The series had been suspended since the end of December 2022 due to production problems stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Isekai Oji-san takes the prize for the anime project most affected by production problems due to COVID-19, since it was suspended on more than one occasion. In fact, the series premiered in the season of Summer-2022 (July-September)so it should have ended more than six months ago.

The case of Isekai Ojisan has served to highlight Japan’s dependence on animators hired independently from abroad. Isekai Oji-san Synopsis
Autumn 2017. The nephew, Takafumi, went to the hospital to visit his uncle, who has just woken up from a seventeen-year-old coma. However, it seems that he has lost his mind, as he claims that he was in another world called “Grand Bahamar” during all this time, and even seems to speak a strange language. But everything changes when his uncle, a common human, shows him that he learned to use magic in the other world. So when Takafumi realizes that the magic his uncle uses is completely real, he proposes that she use his skills to become a successful YouTuber. Now taking care of him, Takafumi and his uncle begin to get involved in the streaming life, while his uncle tells him from time to time about his life in the other world.
