Kotaro lives alone will have a live-action sequel

This adaptation will be sequelstarting with kotaro in primary school and will have the title Kaette Kitazo me! Kotarō wa Hitori Gurashi. You plan your premiere for the month of April of this year.

The series will air every saturdays at 23:00 Japanese time in TV Asahi and on its 24 affiliated stations. The Japanese video distribution platform, FABRIC it will also stream the episodes each week after they air.

The first live-action adaptation of the work opened in Japan on April 24, 2021 and ended on June 26 of that same year. It had a total of 10 episodes compilations and was also issued on TV Asahi.
Regarding the original manga by Mami Tsumura, it is published in the magazine Big Comic Superiorof shogakukan since 2015, remaining open with 9 volumes compilations. Thanks to its popularity, the work surpassed the number of 1.4 million copies in circulation.
In addition to the manga, the work also has an animated adaptation that was released worldwide through Netflix on March 10, 2022, with a total of 10 episodes. Behind the anime is the studio Liden Filmswhich appointed as project manager the Tomoe Makino (Woodpecker Detective’s Office). The character designs were carried out by Tomomi Kimura (Kochoki) and the composition of the story was written by Hiroshi Satо̄. In Spain it is available in Spanish and also in the original version with Spanish subtitles.
Kotaro Sato is a four-year-old boy who moves in and becomes a neighbor of Shin Karino, a manga author who has failed to achieve success. Kotaro has no parents and lives alone, but somehow earns enough money to not only survive, but out-earn his quirky neighbors.
