Lycoris Recoil and SPY x FAMILY triumph at the Seiyuu Awards

The organizers of the seventeenth edition of the Seiyuu Awards announced today the winners of the various awards. Let us remember that, as of this edition, the committee of the Seiyuu Awards it has eliminated the men’s and women’s divisions for inclusion reasons. Now, all the seiyuus, regardless of gender, will compete in a single division in “Best Main Seiyuu“, “Best Secondary Seiyuu” and “Best New Seiyuu“.

For this list, we have omitted awards with little or no relevance:

Best Lead Voice Actor/Actress Award

• Award for the best performance of an actor during the year: Chika Anzai (Chisato Nishikigi in Lycoris Recoil); Takuya Eguchi (Loid Forger in SPY x FAMILY), Atsumi Tanezaki (Anya Forger in SPY x FAMILY).

Best Supporting Voice Actor/Actress Award

• Award for the best secondary performance of an actor during the year: shuichi ikeda (Shanks in One Piece); ryotaro okiayu (Byakuya Kuchiki in BLEACH); Atsumi Tanezaki (Sajuna Inui at Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru).

Best New Voice Actor/Actress Award

• Award for outstanding performances by actors who have debuted in the last five years. shuichiro umeda (Yuu Izumi in Kawaii dake ha Nai Shikimori-san); hina suguta (Marin Kitagawa in Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru); Anna Nagase (Ushio Kofune in Summer Time Rendering); minami hinata (Bojji in Ousama Ranking); Shion Wakayama (Takina Inoue in Lycoris Recoil).

Singing Award

• Voice Actor Singing Award Under Own Name or in a Role: Nijigasaki Gakuen School Idol Doukoukai.

Influencer Award

• Natsuki Hanae (Tanjiro Kamado in Kimetsu no Yaiba).

MVS (Most Valuable Seiyuu), Most Important Voice Actor/Actress

• Takuya Eguchi (Hachima Hikigaya in Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru).
