Within the story of the popular original anime, Lycoris Recoilthere is a subplot related to the underwear she was wearing Takina Inoue, one of the leading girls. When Chisato Nishikigi discovers, by mere chance, that Takina was wearing men’s boxers as underwear, immediately starts an operation to buy Takina women’s clothing.
It turns out that Takina is very closed to just following instructions, and because the Direct Attack (DA) provides them with the Lycoris uniform, but not the underwear, she asked the manager Mika what underwear he wore, causing the misunderstanding and buying the exact same kind. However, the episode ends without revealing what underwear Takina ended up buying, so that question remains to this day.
A few days ago the book was released “Lycoris Recoil – Heroine Archive Chisato & Takina Book“, which includes a large number of illustrations and character sketches made by the production. One of the pages finally revealed what underwear Takina bought, and we can see a simple panty design with a bow in the front, plus a matching bra, both in pink. A simple underwear, but let’s remember that Takina herself chose it, so those are her tastes.

Lycoris Recoil Synopsis
The number of terrorist acts in Japan has never been lower, thanks to the efforts of a syndicate called Direct Attack (DA). The organization raises orphaned girls as assassins to carry out killings under its “Lycoris” program. Takina Inoue is an exceptional Lycoris, with a strong sense of will and a penchant for perfection. Unfortunately, a hostage situation tests her patience, and the resulting act of insubordination gets her transferred out of the DA. She’s not thrilled about losing the only place she ever belonged, but reluctantly arrives at her new base of operations: LycoReco, a disguised diner.
However, Takina’s new partner turns out to be very different from what she imagined. Despite being the famous Lycoris prodigy, Chisato Nishikigi seems almost unconcerned with her obligations. She drags Takina into all sorts of odd jobs under the simple explanation of helping people in need. Takina is further taken aback when Chisato takes down a group of armed assailants without killing any of them. Feeling like a fish out of water, Takina is determined to rejoin the DA, but Chisato is determined to show her that there is more to life than just taking it.
