New details and premiere of A Galaxy Next Door
The official website from the anime A Galaxy Next Door (Otonari ni Ginga) unveiled last Friday a new image promotional, more cast and the second trailer from the series. The video contains a preview of the opening theme «Tonari Awase“, interpreted by Chinatsu Matsumotoand set the premiere of the series for the next April 8. the streaming platform crunchyroll will offer the simulcast of the anime for outside of Japan.
After this announcement, the additional cast is made up of the following cast:
- Rie Takahashi What Chihiro Ibusuki.
- tomokazu sugita What Masahiro Morikuni.
- Yoko Hikasa What Momoka Morikuni.
On the other hand, the distribution of roles already confirmed previously is the following:
- taku yashiro What Ichiro Kuga.
- Yu Wakui What Shiori Goshiki.
- Queen Endo What machikuga.
- Maria Naganawa What Fumio Kuga.
ryuichi kimura (Aikatsu!, kemono friends) is in charge of the direction of this project for television of Asahi Productionwhile Gigaemon Ichikawa (Chikasugi Idol Akae-chan, Kedama no Gonjiro) is in charge of the composition and supervision of the script. Yasuka Otaki (Girl’s Frontlinelive-action 3D Kanojo Real Girl) is in charge of adapting the original character designs of Gido Amagakure to the anime.
Gido Amagakure writes and illustrates this romantic comedy that has been published since April 2020 in the pages of the magazine Good! Afternoon from the publisher kodansha and currently has 5 volumes compilations released on the Japanese market.
After his father passed away unexpectedly, Kuga Ichiro had to take care of his two younger brothers, despite only having a high school education. He became a manga artist, but had fallen behind the stream, struggling in analog as the industry shifted to digital. After losing his assistants in his debut, he’s now in big trouble, as the deadline is approaching and he can’t find assistants who are still using pen and paper… Until his editor contacts him with good news: a new! attendee!
