New Trailer for Junji Ito Maniac: Japanese Tales of the Macabre
The website for the anime of Junji Ito Maniac: Japanese Tales of the Macabre presents a new trailer. In the video, just over two minutes long, you can hear a preview of the song “Iu Toori”which interprets the musical group JYOCHO and that serves as the ending of the series. This adaptation of the works of Junji Ito will be released worldwide next January 19 in Netflix.

Shinobu Tagashiraadaptation director junji ito collectionreturns to lead this project within the Studio DEEN. With her he returns again Kaoru Sawada (Kita e…: Diamond Dust Drops) as a screenwriter, in addition to yuki hayashi (Haikyuu!!, My Hero Academia) as a music composer and Hozumi Goda as sound director.
This is not the first time that some of the popular mangaka’s stories have been adapted into anime. In January 2018 it was released junji ito collectionseries co-produced by crunchyroll Y Studio DEEN which has 12 episodes and 2 OVAswhich can be seen on the platform itself subtitled in Spanish.
As for the works of Junji Ito in Spain, most have been published and translated into Spanish by various publishers, such as ECC Editions Y comic planet. Among the author’s most outstanding works to be published in our country we find gyo, Black Paradox, uzumaki, Hellstar Remina either Junji Ito’s Cat Diary.
