
Steam, meat and neon lights in Tokyo: bases of Japanese cyberpunk at Japan Weekend in Madrid
During the Japan Weekend in Madridwhich is celebrated on the days February 11 and 12part of the team Ramen for Two will offer up to a total of three conferences. The first of them, titled Steam, meat and neon in Tokyo: bases of the japanese cyberpunk will have as speakers Carlos Alvarez (Ryoji) and Antonio Avila (Cooper). This conference aims to offer an ontological vision of cyberpunk, considering its origins and stylistic lines. For this, it will be a taxonomy of the term to deepen its philosophy, aesthetics, context and imaginary and examples of cultural productions representative. There will be a climate of debate that revolves around contemporary concerns, also involving the public that attends.
