
The live-action series of Coming to you will premiere in March
Netflix and tv tokyo have shared through their social networks a new promotional poster, as well as confirmed new names, for the live-action series of kimi ni todoke. Better known in Spain as Coming to youthe live-action adaptation of Karuho Shiina’s manga will premiere worldwide next March 30th through the streaming platform.
The new confirmed actors are the following:
- Kaito Sakurai as Ryū Sanada
- Rinka Kumada (live-action of Ao Natsu) as Ayane Yano
- Riho Nakamura as Chizuru Yoshida
- naho all (live-action of Gantz) as Yoko Kuronuma
- Hiroyuki Hirayama (live-action of Paradise Kiss) as Kitao Kuronuma
- Shōhei Miura (live-action of Daytime Shooting Star) as Kazuichi Arai
These join the two previously confirmed lead actors. sarah minamiknown for her role in with you to deathwill interpret Sawako Kuronumawhile Ōji Suzukawho had already participated in the live-action adaptation of horimiyawill do the same with Shota Kazahaya.
The series is a co-production of tv tokyo and Netflixwhich has the address of Takehiko Shinjō (live-action of Your Lie in April) and Takeo Kikuchi (live-action of tokyo alice). As for the script, this falls to Hayato Miyamoto.
Karuho Shiina started posting kimi ni todoke in 2006 on the pages of the magazine Bessatsu Margaret from the publisher Shueisha. The story ended in September 2017, being compiled in a total of 30 volumes.
Currently, apart from the imminent live-action, the work has a multitude of adaptations to other media, as well as a spin-off titled Kimi ni Todoke Bangaihen: Unmei no Hito. Among them, the anime series of Production I.G. and address of hiro kaburaki (Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun, 91 Days). It aired on Japanese television between October 2009 and March 2011, ending with a total of 38 episodes. Since last October it can also be enjoyed in Netflix.
