The second season of Birdie Wing -Golf Girls’ Story- will premiere on April 7
The official Twitter account from the anime Birdie Wing -Golf Girls’ Story- posted a new one last Friday promotional image of the second season and set its expected premiere for the next one april 7. The on-demand streaming platform crunchyroll will offer the simulcast of the series as it already did with its first season.
Takayuki Inagaki (desert punk, Rosario + Vampire) directed the first season of this anime based on the world of golf for Bandai Namco Pictures. Together with him, Yousuke Kuroda (Mobile Suit Gundam 00, My Hero Academia) wrote the script, while Kei Ajiki (Strike Witches: 501 Butai Hasshin Shimasu!) designed the characters. For his part, Kotarō Nakagawa (code geass) and Hironori Anazawa (scarlet nexus) composed the music. Likewise, the professional golf coach Toru Inoue supervised this series produced in association with Global Golf Media Group. Its broadcast took place between April and June 2022, ending with 13 episodes.
Besides these, other names of the production team that participated in the series are shin misawa (director of capeta) as a golf course designer and concept artist, Toshiyuki Sakakieda (Blood Lad, Dive!!) as an art designer, Minoru Akiba (School Rumble, Rent-a-Girlfriend) and Shin Maeda as art directors Tomoe Takaya (Mairimashita! Iruma-kun) as color designer, Koujirou Hayashi (Fullmetal Panic!, Gantz) as cinematographer, kumiko sakamoto (carole & tuesday, Noragami) as editor, Hajime Takakuwa (Kingdom, Blue Dragon) as sound director and Shizuo Kurahashi (goal 13, Akira) as in charge of sound effects.
As for the cast of voices, the return of Akari Kitō and Asami Seto in the roles of the protagonists Eve and Aoi Amawashirespectively.
Nafres, a country in Europe. Eve, a golf genius, spends her days gambling for a living. One day, she has a fateful encounter with Amawashi Aoi, an elite golfer and the daughter of the president of a large company. They both come from totally different backgrounds and their playing styles are opposite. However, jutas will shake up the world of golf.
