“Jujutsu Kaisen” recently left us with a wild episode 17 of its second anime season through which we saw what, surely, is about the most spectacular fight that Sukuna has taken part in to date. The king of curses held nothing back against a Shikigami who, being still incomplete in terms of his power, even forced him to use his Mastery. Well, if like me you were amazed by MAPPA’s work, You will be even more amazed by the statements of one of its managers.
Jujutsu Kaisen’s second season could be much more if it had a logical schedule
If you’ve been following this new “Jujutsu Kaisen” anime closely, you’ll know that If something has been talked about even more than the quality of their fights, it is the exploitation that MAPPA workers are suffering.. Well, you can’t miss the following comments from Enrico Nobili, one of the animators of the second season of “Jujutsu Kaisen” (via AnimeHunch).
- Basically, Enrico Nobili assures that Jujutsu Kaisen’ season 2 episode 17it’s not finished‘.
- The animator clarifies that he is happy because despite this people enjoy it, but that he still finds it I wish I could have completed the job properly. 🙄
- Nobili assures that what is broadcast openly represents only 30% of the vision that the team had for the confrontation between Sukuna and Mahoraga. Nobili emphasizes that ‘I wish there was more time to finish the scenes‘, referring once again to that rushed schedule in which the anime continuation is working. 😣
- To see how things are turning out in this new season of the anime, Nobili indicates that Until the day before Sukuna vs Mahoraga aired he was still working on several of the episode’s animation cuts.. Come on, as a whole the episodes of the second season are half-receiving the green light just a handful of hours before they are made public. 😅
It must be said that you will no longer find all of these tweets by Enrico Nobili unless you can find the screenshots that were taken at the time, since the animator has taken care of eliminating each and every one of them. At the end of the day, I think it is well known what the conditions that MAPPA imposes on its workers today are like. In this point The way this second season of “Jujutsu Kaisen” will end is completely up in the air, even more so when you take into account that there are (theoretically) weeks of broadcast ahead.. The only thing that can be done is to send all the support in the world to the MAPPA animators.
