The proliferation of Artificial Intelligences (AI) generating artwork via a user-supplied text string still continues, but definitely stable diffusion has remained one of the representatives of this trend, along with midjourney and other great AI.
Let’s not forget that an AI works by “learning” from all the content available on the Internet, but it will only access this content when the user tells it to. For example, for an AI to learn about anime designs, users have to ask it, via text instructions, to search the internet for keywords and “learn” about that content. So how do you improve an AI? Well, through training that the users themselves do simply by using it.
For this reason, the first AIs are the ones that offer the best results today, and the Twitter user “@waifu_jp” has shown off this type of content by creating “real versions” of the anime characters of the moment. For example, this would look like Makima of Chainsaw Man.
Or so it would look Hitori “Bocchi” Gotō of Bocchi the Rock!.
Or how about Lucy of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners?
AND Nazuna Nanakusa of Yofukashi no Uta?
Those are all the illustrations that the recently created user has shared. However, surely many are already anxious to know what will be the next target waifu of this trend.
Synopsis for Chainsaw Man
The story takes place in a world where Demons threaten the peace of humans, making them targets to be eliminated. Denji is a depressed young man who has sold several of his organs and works as a lumberjack and demon hunter to pay off his late father’s debt. Denji owns a dog (which is also a demon) named Pochita, who has chainsaws and which he uses to do his work.
This is explained because humans can make contracts with demons. After returning home from a job, Denji is called by a Yakuza to infiltrate a building and kill another demon. However, the plan was a trap to assassinate him as part of a Yakuza contract with the demon, gaining them more power. But Pochita comes to Denji’s aid and bonds with him, becoming a half-man, half-demon and acquiring Pochita’s chainsaws.
